Munising Area Waterfalls
These lovely Munising Waterfalls are beautiful any time of year. Tranquil, gentle and majestic, these great natural attractions are truly a journey worth taking. Photos by Chris and Gina Harman (unless otherwise noted).

Alger Falls
Located on M-28 - East of Munising City limits. They are found on the East side of the highway. They are towards the bottom of a hill - be very careful when pulling off to view. Wagner Falls are very nearby at the junction.

Bridal Veil Falls
Seen best while relaxing on a boat cruise, the Bridal Veil Falls are located in the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore.

Horseshoe Falls
This is a beautiful private owned waterfall is easily found while traveling from M-28 at the south edge of Munising, turn east onto Prospect Street, then left onto Bell. There is a small admission fee - but visitors will also enjoy the Trout Pond and gardens when enjoying the walk to the falls!

Memorial Falls
Located on H-58, just travel East on Munising Avenue then turn right on Nester. There are some signs - but travel slow so you do not miss the trail.

Miners Falls
Follow the signs from H-58 to the Pictured Rocks Trail. The signs bring you to Miners Castle and Miners Falls - just select your destination from that point. There are some steps down to a clear view of the falls. They offer a upper platform also.

Miners Beach Falls
Located where Miners River meets Lake Superior - easily seen from a Tour Boat..

Munising Falls
Located in Munising, simply follow M28 through town to the Sand Point Road Junction. Then travel north and follow the signs..

|
Sable Falls
Located one mile west of Grand Marais - follow signs while traveling on 77.
|

|
Scott's Falls
Just west of Christmas - take M28 just past Christmas and watch for signs near the roadside park.
|

|
|
|
|
Spray Falls
Best seen by Tour Boat - watch for the spray falls 1.75 miles north east of Chapel Rock.

|
|
Wagner Falls
This beautiful waterfall is located south of Munising on 94 - just past the junction of 94 and M28 - watch for the signs. They offer good parking and a small walk path to the falls.
